Mix media Tag (2)

Hello everyone,

I am joining in with Rainbow craftykari's another wonderful challenge where they have photo to inspire us this month.

here is the photo inspiration

I am inspired by the background pastel blue color, round shape cutouts, black diecuts, feathers, flowers, white diecuts .
I challenged myself to incorporate all the above elements in a Tag.
so,here is my take on the challenge

I used a waste cardboard as a base of my tag and applied gesso all over it,then i pasted a pastel blue paper over the half portion and lace at the base. and distressed the edges with tubbycraft inks.
i hand cut the round shape out of paper and mounted it over the base.
adhered some punched flowers, butterfly, doilies and flowers
also added some feathers.
stamped the sentiment
Hope you like it!!

CASology Guest Designer- Thrill

Hello everyone,

I am so Thrilled and at the same time honored to join CASology team as Guest designer this week and cue word for this week's challenge is also 'Thrill'..

so,I am going to share a card to inspire you to play along this week with us at
CASology.

When i heard the cue 'Thrill',the first thing came into my mind was a holiday spent with my cousins in a amusement park when we were kids..we enjoyed a lot and at the same time we were so thrilled and screaming out of joy when we were in a roller coaster ride.
so, i tried to put up my childhood memory onto my card.
here is the pic

I have hand drawn the roller coaster ride and hand written the sentiment 'woohoo'. The idea behind this sentiment was to depict the thrill as well as i can use this card to congratulate someone.

hope you like it!!

i punched some heart shapes from yellow paper and made roses out of it..and adhered them over the textured background..i punched some flowers out of blue paper and vellum and stuck them around yellow roses,i have also added some tiny blue roses which i bought from a local store.
white leaves are die cuts gifted by a friend.i adhered punched butterfly from vellum near the sentiment
